There are 5 different levels of memberships. You can become a member for free ( Freebie ) by simply joining our Facebook group. Additionally, you can easily upgrade your Freebie membership to a premium membership level with Patreon (Tipper, Supporter) or with PayPal (Advertiser and Partner) if you wish to access exclusive perks such as:
Discovering the new Themes of the Month before anybody else
Voting for the monthly surveys to choose the new Themes of the Month
Having the deadline to submit your entry extended by 3 days
Seeing your art promoted to our community and to our followers

Freebie
Freebies are the members of the Character Design Challenge who participate for free, this is usually the starting point for every new member. Freebies have access to our Facebook Group where they can share their unique vision of a character based on a common theme with a community of thousands of artists. Freebies' artworks can potentially be selected as a Winner of the CDChallenge at the end of each month and shared on our website and social pages with a community of over 500.000 art enthusiasts, comic books geeks and animation fans.
IMPORTANT! Requests to join the group can take up to 2/3 weeks, please be patient.

Tipper
Tippers are the members of the Character Design Challenge who have joined us on our Patreon and simply want to show their support for our project by pledging $1 per month, or more. Just as for the Freebies, the Tippers have access to our Facebook Group and their artworks can potentially be selected as a Winner of the CDChallenge at the end of each month, but they also discover the new theme for the CDChallenge before everybody else in the community, 2 days earlier, so they can better prepare and have more time to submit a design for the contest.

Supporter
Supporters are the members of the Character Design Challenge who have joined us on our Patreon and want to show their support for our project by pledging $5 per month, or more. Just as for the Freebies and Tippers, the Supporters have access to our Facebook Group and their artworks can potentially be selected as a Winner of the CDChallenge at the end of each month, but they also get exclusive access to the monthly surveys on Patreon to choose the new Themes of the Month (and they will discover the result 2 days earlier). On top of that, the deadline to submit an entry for the contest is extended by 3 days to all Supporters (so combined with theme preview, this means that they will have 5 EXTRA DAYS each month to work on your entry!). Supporters also get exclusive access to the Challenge Rewards, the monthly prizes of the Character Design Challenge. Finally, the 3 designs who will receive the Challenge Rewards will be promoted on all our social pages along with the classic Winners of the CDChallenge!
IMPORTANT! make sure to post your design on our Patreon page as well, to qualify for the Challenge. If you are not on Facebook and don’t want to open an account there, you can simply post your design on our Patreon page and it will be automatically validated as an entry for the contest.

Advertisers are members of the Character Design Challenge, schools or private companies who want to show their support for our project and advertise on our website and on social pages by pledging €500 per month, or more, via PayPal. Advertisers will see their website, services or products featured on our website with banners. They will also receive promotional shout-outs from us on our social pages, which are followed by a community of over 500.000 artists, creatives, art enthusiasts, comic books geeks and animation fans.

The official Partner of the Character Design Challenge is the hero of our community. It is a single art school or a private company who wants to support our project and become the exclusive partner of the Character Design Challenge by pledging €2000 per month (or more), via PayPal every month, for one year. A Partner will see its services or products featured on our website with multiple banners and advertising spaces. Our official Partner will also receive multiple promotional shout-outs from us on our social pages, which are followed by a community of over 500.000 artists, creatives, art enthusiasts, comic books geeks and animation fans. As a Partners you won't just see your services promoted by us, but as a cornerstone of the CDChallenge, your brand will be considered as a true patron of the arts by the largest and most influential community of character artists on the Internet.
